Tinkerbell specialty cake

of a big fairy-garden like purple flower where Tinkerbell is sitting down.

Christening Cake for Casey Emery [march2013]

I am very happy after I have done this cake. The one who requested for this christening cake is a friend of my hubby's cousin. She already saw my previous christening cake design from one of their common friend, and maybe she liked it so she decided to contact me...bravo to myself!!( i knew I did an impressive job with the previous one, BIG SMiLE :))))))))))). )She just gave me a simple instruction.."I want it simple". But of course in my mind It should be "simple yet something elegant" in a way because it is for her daughter's christening, a very special occassion for Catholics. I sent several christening pictures from the inet that she may like but they didn't look simple so I had to explain what I how exactly I can make it simple. Of course for the art's sake I never copied a design, I always do my own version.....and that's exactly what I did. She also wanted it to be colored yellow at first (my idea) because I may have mentioned color yellow as well during our first conversation, but I pictured this cake to be in color pink, so I explained that it would be a different one, colors would be white, pink and a little of purple. And she agreed, so this cake is an awesome design that I have made myself. Yippppppeeeeee!

I also got a positive feedback from her with how the chocolate cake tastes. She said the exact word ".....it's not just beautifully made but it was also delish". Made my day!

Note:date of order is on the title. I uploaded these photos in my fb page last Mar18, the exact Christening event would have been a day or 2 before that.

Blue cupcakes for Baby Shower [13April2013]

This cupcake is for a baby shower. The one who ordered is a friend of a common friend. They prepared a surprise baby shower. I used about 4 colors for this cupcake order. blue has 2 shades which are turquoise and light blue. I also used white and brown. The picture does not represent the real colors, I was using iphone to capture this, it could be the light.

Mickey mouse cake

An old colleague/friend from an airline company in singapore ordered this cake.
She was strict with the color combination, must be red, black and white... After awhile she added yellow to the color that I can use for the cake. I also needed to show her different kinds of cake designs, but it was fun because by doing so I was the one who gets excited for her and her baby boy's party.

In the 1st picture, you'll see the mickey mouse ears are not attached properly (on purpose), I sent the picture to my friend so she knows how she could put it on the cake. It should be transported with out the ears because it might collapse before it could reach the event destination.
Her husband picked up the cake and was delighted with what he saw, I am happy with his reaction :)) woot wooot!!

"Under the sea" specialty cake [19April2013]

I made this cake as a gift for a birthday boy. It was my husbands' colleague's son and my family is invited on his birthday party. It was rush, I was still able to make it pretty awesome :)

Dumbell cake [May 1, 2013]

My friend Peng Macalino from choir ordered this cake for her boyfriend.

This dumbell cake is a challenge because when I thought of having a black fondant on the night I was about to mold the dumbell, i found out it dried out because the ziplock was not sealed properly. I had to make a new fondant and had to make a black color for such a short period of time.

But then again, I'm still lucky cause I was still able to combine colors and create the desired hue of gray and black.... Ohhappy day!! I painted the gray fondant with white shimmer so it gives a velvety kind of shine, just right to make it look like the real one. And the black color, it was natural! Thank God!

She's happy when I sent the photo of the cake, and definitely happier when she saw it personally :)))). That happy face she got is also my happiness cause I know she'd be delighted to give it her bf.

Princess specialty cupcakes

I made this cupcakes last January2013. It was ordered by a family friend for her daughter's birthday celebration in school. The celebrant was so happy and proud of her mom's surprise, "the specialty cupcakes".

2013 update

I haven't had time to update this page... But i will try my best to post all the pictures of the specialty cakes and specialty cupcakes I have created for the past few months ;)
